Numerous well-known local and internationally-known award-winning artists, from a "discovered" four-year-old wunderkind to an eighty-something-year-old multi-media star, are proudly presented throughout the beautiful gallery and boutique. Since its auspicious opening, Savage Gallery has produced amazingly successful exhibitions for legendary photographer John Palatinus, Route 66 Artists Group, assemblage artist Peggy Vermeer, painter Ryan Motel Campbell, painter Michael Hinkle, sculptor James Messana, painter/sculptor Robert Yancy, painter Jean Bradley and sculptor Rik Phillips -- to name but a few. The artists who exhibited at the gallery have had work collected by such luminaries as Armand Hammer, Barbara Streisand, the McMillan family, and countless others. Savage's own versatile, unique work (including book author) is not only represented at the gallery but also at The Morrison, The Biltmore, the San Giuliano Hotel, the former Liberace residence, all Legal Zoom offices, and the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, with "Savage Pets" series greeting cards available there as well as the paintings themselves. In association with talented interior designers such as Christopher Kennedy, Savage has been a part of restoring historic homes throughout the Coachella Valley to their prior glory , in addition to creating countless commissioned art for private individuals. Ever community-minded, Savage Gallery has continually supported several worthy causes such as The Desert AIDS Project, The Mizell Center, The Cathedral Center, and local schools. Savage Gallery's own cutting-edge multi-media publicist/spokesperson, the provocative Brother Andy, is the founder of the Intriguism art movement/method, prolific film-producer, outrageous fashion icon and creative visionary. Brother Andy aids in producing Savage events such as the relaxing Savage Sundays, developing mass media products, plus acting as host of the up-coming monthly Savage Sinema movie nights.
