homoerotic exhibit of Carnies and Cowboys at the County Fair. Celebrated
photographer Tim Gerken captures the testosterone-driven, natural beauty of men
in this striking, colorful and down right "hawt" show at The Savage Gallery.

The
artist describes his show: "The dirt and sugar sit together on the
Waffle Cake and the deep fried Oreos melt your tongue, but there is beauty in
the lights and the swagger of the young men that walk the midway. Alone, in a
group, or with their girl—maybe with a tiger in her arms—each carries a
confidence that only these fairs seem to bring out. I think it is this momentary
freedom that I find attractive: even the little guy, swings the hammer and tries
to ring the bell; the chubby kid smiles next to his prize winning hog. There is
a natural beauty in these men. (But, I have seen their fathers and it doesn’t
necessarily last). They become part of the games they play and I love trying to
catch that."

INTERNATIONALLY-KNOWN ARTIST BEN
JASPER AT SAVAGE GALLERY EXHIBITION

Internationally-known and trained Contemporary
fine artist Ben Jasper will exhibit an array of colorful abstract paintings this
coming Saturday March 24, 2012 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Palm Springs ' own Savage
Gallery and Boutique.Jasper is a long-time Coachella Valley
resident who has exhibited throughout the United States , Europe and Japan ,
including Tokyo , Osaka , Kyoto and Fukuoka in Japan , London , England , and
New York , Chicago , Dallas , Rock Island and Davenport in the USA . His work is
in the collections of a very large selection of private patrons as well as in
public institutions, most notably at The British Museum in London , The Royal
Palace in Stockholm , Sweden . Please RSVP.

Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs.  These tasty eateries will feature for sale the artists of Savage Gallery to be changed out monthly.  These wonderful restaurants will also host an artist reception every month.  "What a great chance to sample their food and see art" says Savage Gallery Owner Shawn Savage.  "This also insures that Savage Gallery artists are given even more exposure than artists of other galleries."
