On September 25th from 6 to 8pm the third annual "Savage Pets" event will be held at the beautiful Palm Springs Animal Shelter located at 4575 Mesquite Ave. Palm Springs, CA.  The fund raising event  is expected to be our best effort to date with all donations to me matched by local community leader Harold Matzner. 

Savage Gallery is proud to announce the new "Savage Home" art, furniture and accessories gallery located at "The Shops at 1345"  located at 1345 N. Palm Canyon in beautiful Palm Springs, Ca.  The new space will be packed with beautiful original art by Shawn Savage as well as hand picked, also by Savage, vintage furniture and accessories pieces for the home.  Grand Opening July 20th  7pm to 9pm.

Come help us at Savage Gallery to open up "Modernism Week" with a special cocktail party event featuring the brilliant sharp angle sculptures of master sculptor John Neumann.  Joining Sculptor Neumann will be Painter and Photogher Shawn Savage and the architectural design of Robert Cullison.  6 to 9pm Feb 16.

Savage has been in a particular mood for creating in the last few months with dozens of new paintings in several different styles.  Here is a look at some of the great new works available at Savage Gallery and here on this site.

October 20th from 7 to 10pm at Savage Gallery the "Barbie Does Palm Springs" event begins.  Getting in the spirit Savage has created a limited series of paintings based on Vintage Barbie and Ken dolls.  Paintings are now available on the Savage website and will be on display at the event.

Using materals found in the hardware store along with dirt and sand from outside Savage's studio, Savage has created some of the most beautiful new works of the season.  Savage will present this new series at BluPrint Green Gallery in Palm Springs, Ca. later this month.

"Savage Pets" has so far injoyed great success in the media thanks to our wonderful local publishers.  Raising money is not easy and it would be almost impossible without their help.  "Savage Pets" is not a one day effort or one event effort.  It is a year around effort to sell the paintings, most of which will sell in the coming season for Palm Springs.  I look forward to helping local animal charities with a percentage from each sale.
