Today I had the honor of meeting the ledgendary photographer John Palatinus. At age 82 he is full of excitement and energy when talking about his lifes work. He loves what he has done, sharing his story and the images that have made him an Icon. Visit John at www.john-palatinus.com I will be working with John this season to bring a show of his work to the Savage Gallery in Palm Springs. Date to be announced.

It must have been nice to live in a time when design mattered. That is why I treasure items like this wonderful General Electric Toster. It is every bit a piece of art. Now available.
Today was a good day on the treasure hunt. Found this wonderful Paul McCobb dresser in great condition. Now available on the website.
Today was a day off for me and that means taking my time looking for treasure instead of rushing to get to the gallery. Found a few things that I have not yet offered on this site. So it looks like I am going to create a new page for jewlery. This shopping page will include mens and womens jewlery, sun glasses and accessories. A nice vintage set of Sarah Covington clip on ear rings. Vintage Culver LTD. glasses.
Finished a mate to the painting that I did yesterday. They measure 3X3ft by 3in and are acrylic and oil crayon on masonite. They are both now available on the website in Shop Paintings by Savage.
I love going into the thrifts and looking for something cool to clean up and resell or keep for myself. The best thing about it is that you never know what you will find. Today was a special day and those of you that collect mid-century pottery will agree.
This is a huge piece that measures nearly 12in by 7in. Just looks awesome as a center piece on a vintage credenza. Sculptor artist Rik Phillips and myself are teaming up to create these awesome designer tables. They will soon be available at the gallery and here online.
Worked on new paintings today. Went in early and busted out some fun ones. I hope you agree. Available now.
