Savage is branching out to a wonderful local gallery called Bluprint Green located at the heart of Palm Springs. Taking the last month to gather myself and make some changes to the gallery I am ready to get back into the swing of things for the summer season. Savage Gallery has a very exciting event with a very special ASID mixer June 8th featuring the art of Laura Janes followed by the opening of a new Savage Satellite Gallery space on Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. Waffle Cake and the deep fried Oreos melt your tongue, but there is beauty in
the lights and the swagger of the young men that walk the midway. Alone, in a
group, or with their girl—maybe with a tiger in her arms—each carries a
confidence that only these fairs seem to bring out. I think it is this momentary
freedom that I find attractive: even the little guy, swings the hammer and tries
to ring the bell; the chubby kid smiles next to his prize winning hog. There is
a natural beauty in these men. (But, I have seen their fathers and it doesn’t

Announcing Savage Satellite Galleries The Rainbow Bar and Grill located at 216 N. Indian Canyon and The Sandwich Spot located at 240 N. Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs. These tasty eateries will feature for sale the artists of Savage Gallery to be changed out monthly. These wonderful restaurants will also host an artist reception every month. "What a great chance to sample their food and see art" says Savage Gallery Owner Shawn Savage. "This also insures that Savage Gallery artists are given even more exposure than artists of other galleries."

"Boxiana" was a knock out success for artist Robert Landry. The air was filled with one compliment after another for his sensational and masterful series of sports paintings, which will be at the gallery for a few more days. Thanks to everyone who contributed to our overwhelming success.
The Modernist Garage Sale Event at Savage Gallery this past weekend Feb. 18th and 19th was a huge success with well over one hundred viewers and buyers. Items ranged from the odd $5 item to the amazing one of thirty made 1960's desk for an asking price of $75,000. Even a visit by world famous artist SHAG. Just another reason to never miss an event at Savage.
